Georgia Law Enforcement Explorer Academy

Open to all Police Explorers who are members of certified POSTs.

The Georgia Law Enforcement Explorer Academy (G.L.E.E.A.) is 6 days and 5 nights of intensive Explorer training which focuses on the fundamentals of law enforcement, teamwork, leadership, and character development.

 

G.L.E.E.A. cadets study topics such as the history of law enforcement, GA state law, GA traffic law, crime scene investigation, principals of investigation, negotiation, firearms training, defensive tactics and accident investigation.
