RFP for Winter Sand 2022-2024

The City of Claremont is seeking sand bids for the winter seasons.  The intent is to contract a two (2) year agreement – from September 1, 2022 to September 1, 2024.

 

 

The Claremont DPW expects to purchase approximately 1,500 tons of sand throughout each of the two winter seasons on an as-needed basis; quantities may vary due to the weather and/or severity of the winter seasons.

 

Prior to the bid submission bidders are required to provide a sample of the winter sand in a five-gallon pail along with a copy of the sieve analysis performed on the sand. Please deliver the sample to the Department of Public Works, 8 Grandview Street, Claremont, NH. 

 

All bidders must submit their bid on the enclosed bid form. 

 

Sealed bids must be received by the Office of the City Manager, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743 by Monday, August 22nd, 2022 @ 10:00 AM- at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Please write “Winter Sand Bid” on the outside of the sealed envelope.
